Es gab aber schon um 1826 (Webstuhl-)Maschinenstürmerei in den Longholme and Higher Mills, und Thomas Kay war 1817 Textilfabrikant in der Longhome Mill. [Rossendalealive (2011)]. Seit 1896: "Richard Ashworth, Longhome Mills", diese bei [Barretts Directory of Blackburn and Burnley (1930/31) 125] als Wollwarenfabrik, [Adressbuch Wollen-...-Industrie II (1928) 473] als Teppich- und Filzfabrik. Auch "N.
