Three mills, all owned by the same Company. Northeast and West Amwell mills were built in 1847; 10 single puddling furnaces, 10 heating furnaces, 6 trains of rolls, and 1 hammer; water and steam power; product, blooms for galvanizing, and boiled iron of the kind called " Harvey's patent cleaned"; annual capacity, 7.000 net tons; average yearly production, 6.000 tons. A bloomary of 8 fires is at the same place, also owned by this Company. |
